My Philosophy
My business philosophy centers around helping people. It is a good feeling to know that I have made a positive difference in someone’s life and in the world. I am an advocate for my clients. That means that I help find solutions to your real estate needs that are best for you. I will communicate with you openly and I will always give you an honest opinion. When referring you to another professional, I will refer only those who are highly competent and of the highest integrity. Most importantly, I care enough to represent your best interests. In caring, I listen to your needs, search and study the market to find what you desire, negotiate aggressively to ensure you are getting a fair deal, and work diligently and purposefully to offer you the best possible service.
Along with my concern for my clients comes a concern for our environment. We must remember that the Earth does not need us, we need it. Maintaining the health of the environment, whether outside or inside our homes, improves the quality of life for all of us. It is a passion to share how to make your home more environmentally sound. Many times, what is good for the environment is also good for your wallet and your health. It’s often a win, win, win situation.

EcoBroker is an education and certification program for real estate professionals who care about the environment and want to promote energy-efficient and "green" features in homes and buildings. The EcoBroker® logo is the symbol of environmentally responsible and sustainable practices in the real estate industry. Certified EcoBrokers® meet buyer and seller demand for real estate professionals with a real understanding of the issues that drive current market decisions.
About Me
I am an environmentally focused real estate agent. Prior to that, I studied electrical engineering and music and taught music, chemistry, biology, and environmental sciences to high school students.
As a real estate agent, I focus on solutions. Buying or selling a home is a multi-faceted process. I help you find solutions so that you get what you want at the best value through patience, education, research, negotiation, and a dedication to serving your best interests. In addition, I can educate you about the environmental issues that involve your home. I can suggest ways that you can save money and add value to your home while mitigating your impact on the environment.
As a 14-year resident of San Francisco and a second-time homeowner, I understand the excitement and stresses associated with buying or selling your home. I understand how to make your home more environmentally friendly. Your home is your most important investment, and your most important environment. I can help you with both. And, my services do not end when the transaction is over. As I see it, that is just the beginning of a mutually beneficial relationship for many years to come.
